I was admitted to Russel's Hall as an emergency patient in August 2017 with a Gall Bladder problem.
After being an initial assessed in the
A.E.C Department I was admitted to the C7 Gastric ward.
I found the nursing staff on the ward to be very caring and professional.
The ward was comfortable and clean.
The Doctors, both senior and their colleges explained my treatment plan to me and answered all of my questions.
They were all extremely professional and understanding.
I had a number of tests, CT, Ultrasound,, etc. On each occasion the staff were very helpful and the whole process were extremely efficient.
Following my discharge I attended a clinic, again my experience was very positive.
As part of my checkup it was decided that I required a x ray. The whole x ray process took approximately 20 minutes, extremely efficient.
My Doctor decided that I require a follow up procedure, I was able to book an appointment for this procedure before leaving the hospital.
I found my experience of the hospital to have been extremely positive.
A lot of people criticize the N.H.S but I have nothing but praise for the way I was treated by all the staff that I came into contact with and the care that I received.
