"Not royalty but a person expecting respect"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

Both my husband and myself having worked sixty years between us might have thought some dues had been paid alas no.

I was admitted through A&E after a good few hours wait (which I except ). Sent to ex ray where I became the sniggering entertainment for two male operatives.

Stayed in cubicle to be assessed for a long amount of time. Was eventually sent to a ward.

Explained that due to my usual conditions I could not sit for long or lay for long.

This was nothing to do with the horrendous back pain I had been admitted for. Explaned allergies to certain medication. So spent the whole week being sick due to medication.

Has anyone noticed what I declared in the first place. Can not sit or lay for any amount of time. Was then attached to two leg pulse pieces of equipment. Had to keep detaching myself to move because of pain (as previously stated) and needing to go to the loo. But was repeatedly told off for taking them off. Showered every morning at six was one day asked five times had I had a wash I was forced to ask the next doctor who called if I smelt.

Very bad experience and would never hope to have to stay again.

Only one excellent nurse will not name them but if they read this they will know who I mean.
