"Disgusting level of service"

Went to a&e worh a friend was sent to minor injuries passed from pillar to post eventually sent to ward 20. Needed emergency surgery sat in waiting area of ward 20 for over 4 hours apparently waiting to see a doctor. People been given beds then told to evacuate the bed and sit back in waiting area. Clearly in a lot of pain. Hadn't eaten all day. After spending 8 hours here and still no news of a doctor arriving but could clearly see 4-5 doctors stood together engaged in conversation I gave up. I informed the group of doctors of my desicion and I was asked my name so it was noted I had left they looked pleased 1 less to struggle to find a bed for. Would never go back to this hospital I would much rather travel further afield to be treated.
