"Impressed by the hospital"

I had an appointment at the hospital. I had not been before. We set off early as we were aware parking was an issue. We didn't have too long to wait before we got a parking place.

I was very impressed by the cleanliness and bright open spaces once inside the hospital.

We were not sure where to go but the member of staff at the information desk pointed us in the right direction.

I was a bit nervous as this was a two week appointment so was concerned with what the outcome of the appointment would be.

Outpatients was easy to find, the receptionist was welcoming. I only waited five minutes and was called through by a nurse and taken straight into a room where the consultants colleague was waiting to see me. I was put at ease straight away as the consultant chatted through why I was there and then I was examined. It was very thorough and

I was at ease the whole time and very relieved when I was told everything was fine.
