"Works a treat"

About: Pleasley Hill Children's Centre

(as a service user),

Wasn't sure of home talk at first but agreed to try. Felt silly having to repeat myself and strip words into pieces for easy pronouncing but after trying out and seeing the difference, it came natural after a couple weeks and works a treat.

Hello

Thankyou for your thoughts around Home Talk. It is quite usual to feel a bit strange when we are asked to do something we aren't used to doing- but you have obviously noticed the difference this approach is having.

It is so important to support our children's language development, it not only helps with their social skills but also their behaviour aswell!

Well done you for sticking with it.

we hope to see you again soon
