"Disgusted by the lack of care!"

About: Ninewells Hospital

(as a relative),

 1. They got her name completely wrong! Not even misspelt, both surname and second name well off the mark.

2. They had no idea that the day she was in the hospital was her birthday (sad enough) but nobody seemed aware of when her date of birth was.

3.  While I was there I had to ask repeatedly to have her drip changed as the machine was bleeping (loudly) that it was empty. This went on for a good half an hour before somebody came to change the bag.

4. During the night a somewhat confused man in the bed across from her woke her up several times by shouting at her, coming to the side of her bed and at one point asking her to take him to the toilet. 

5. At some point in the night, the drip had been hooked up badly and as a result had become loose and had leaked all over her and her belongings. Now accidents happen, not upset about that even though the drip wasn't connected properly but what I am really angry at is the nurse who came to deal with the mess thought this was hilarious and proceeded to laugh away, despite my grandmother being in some distress about the whole thing.

6. They attempted to take my mothers temperature instead of my grandmothers, despite her lying on the bed hooked up to an IV. 

7. A number of chairs, units and tables had the red stickers that inspectors use when the item has failed.
