About: The Roundhay Road Surgery

Continuing from my last review...

Third Point: So Final point, I’ve had past issues with my joints. I was diagnosed in having Arthritis when I was in Year 5. Up until I was in college I had regular pains in my legs etc. For a good few years now I’ve been pain free no problems whatsoever. Just recently I’ve been getting pains in my legs making hard for me to walk and sleep properly as any sudden movement would cause agonising pain.

So I booked an appointment to see the doctor, the doctors diagnoses was it’s a muscle strain, bearing in mind I did tell the doctor I initially thought it might be muscle pain but I’ve not been to the gym or done any sort of physical exercise that can cause this as I’ve been busy with work etc so not been able to go or better do anything of that sort. So I get a feeling it’s my Arthritis flaring up again as the pain is similar to what it used to be. NOPE the doctor adamant it’s a muscle strain and could be due to lack of vitamins and to arrange for a blood test just in case (like I said seems like an answer for everything).

Appointments been booked for last week Friday but due to work commitments, I was going to re-arrange but by chance I got a call from the surgery about my mother’s blood test appointment as mentioned above. So I told the receptionist whom I spoke to can I re-arrange my appointment etc, she then went on to advise me it’s been re-arranged for tomorrow 22/06/2016 I believe it was 12:20. So I’ve rang today just to confirm what time my mother’s appointment is for today and I when on to ask the receptionist could you clarify what time my blood test is?

It turns out there isn’t a blood test booked in for me for tomorrow they’ve got it down as not attending the one on the Friday which was re-arranged to Wednesday but yet whoever I spoke with didn’t book it in gave me a date & time but never booked it. Then I was given an appointment which wasn’t suitable for me as I am at work as this point I’m fed up and I’ve put the phone down.
