If it's possible to say that you enjoyed a hospital stay then my stay at St. Michael's would qualify. I was an in patient following a knee replacement from Friday 13 to Tuesday 17 October. I have never experienced such a positive and professional attitude to a job of work from a group of staff in my life that would knock this staff off pole position.
EVERYONE, throughout the whole staff, put 100% into each individual patients care. You felt the whole time that you were the only one who really mattered, and yet they were chasing their tails to make sure that everyone felt the same.
It would be totally unfair to single out any one individual for more praise than another so suffice to say that they all deserve recognition for their input into the running of this small hospital and ensuring that you left feeling exceptionally well cared for. Even my two ward mates were a great pair, the banter and camaraderie was very much like being back in the armed forces.
I kept wondering if it was possible to wipe the smile of the staff's faces! But then,... Would you really want to?
