"All in all, a great city centre practice"

About: One Medicare LLP-the Light

I have read reviews on here about waiting times for access to a GP.

If people have ever been registered at another GP surgery, they will know that 2-3 weeks to book an actual appointment is pretty standard, and whilst I am not saying that this is acceptable, its a fact of life.

Saying that, I have never seen another surgery that provides 3 walk-in clinics a week, and yes, you will have to wait, but isn't it worth it?

I waited for 90 mins to be seen, but the doctors in the main are courteous, respectful and listen to you.

I have only had 1 bad experience with a GP at this surgery, and their attitude wasn't great in fact I walked out feeling very angry.

I simply made the decision to ensure I never saw them again, and the rest of the GP's have so far been great.

Hello and Thank You for your positive comments. We do work hard to deliver the best service we can to our patients. If your bad experience with one of our GPs was recently I would certainly be keen to know more about this so we can take it up with the GP concerned? If so could you please let me have more information via thelight@nhs.net so I can investigate?

Many Thanks again and I will share your comments with all of the team here at the Light surgery.
