"cleanliness of Royal Oldham A&E"

Recently I dropped in to A&E with my mother and other family members. I was disgusted by the state of the waiting room. The floors looked like they had not been mopped for weeks. Some of the chairs were stained. The place was absolutely reeking. Is this the kind of service that tax payers pay for? I think that cleanliness should be a priority in places like these. I was fully healthy and feel like I've come down with something since the visit. I don't see the point of millions being spent on refurbishing the place if it is not maintained...In my opinion it was disgusting and I can't believe it. I feel that just because the NHS provides a free health service doesn’t mean they should neglect the basics. I'd rather pay for these services
