"Cannot get an appointment to see a doctor"

About: Robin Lane Health and Wellbeing Centre

Check up with nurse, they asked me to make an appointments with the doctor. Tried for 5 days by phone at 8 am as advised. Day 6 stood outside surgery before doors open in order to get an appointment before phones start to be answered for appointments. Still unable to get an appointment advised to sit and wait. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes and sent to another nurse so still not seen a doctor. It is a number of years since I needed to see a doctor ldo not make a nuisance of myself. The nurses who look after me are wonderful.

Dear Patient

Thank you for your feedback.

In order to maximise the number of appointments available to our patients we offer the majority on the day via the walk-in.

Demand for these appointments is high.

We also offer appointments obtainable through System One On-line which means that you get an appointment without having to phone or visit the surgery.

Please visit our website or ask at reception for more details.

Best wishes,

Claire Turnbull

Support Services Manager
