Transferred to Northwick Park hospital in the early hours of Tuesday 26th September, once again the ambulance crew were really nice and helped to keep me calm but I was in and out of consciousness, I do remember one the crew members asking me to breath, which was a bit difficult for me to do so.
Northwick Park ENT Drs, Nurses and team were incredible, they got me prepped ready for surgery very quickly.
After the operation I woke up in Recovery room.
I cannot thank or praise enough Jenny (nurse) who looked after me, she was amazing and instead of me being worried, she really helped me and understood that I was a human being.
Jenny should be recognised for all her hard work.
Surgeon also checked on my progress.
I have to say I very impressed.
Night nurses were really kind.
After a night in recovery room, I was transferred up to Gray’s Ward.
Once again, the staff were lovely and took very good care of me.
I went back for my consultation Friday 6th October, met with my Surgeon, who is part of Mr Farrell, ENT team.
Absolutely lovely man, very polite and explained everything that happened and what my surgery had consisted off.
Everyone moans about the NHS but I have to say, in an emergency situation you really would not get better treatment or service.
Both Hillingdon Hospital Resus team and Northwick Park ENT team should be commended and recognised for all their hard work.
"Thank you to the ENT team"
