I had a nasty displaced wrist fracture last Saturday evening.
I was seen quickly, the process of care flowed smoothly and was second to none. The nurse specialist who anaesthetised my hand was so competent and considerate. I have a problem with fainting and they managed me so that I didn't faint.
I don't know if I was lucky but there was a consultant orthopaedic surgeon on duty who manipulated my bones into position, and it honestly didn't hurt..
so far it looks good.
I was very impressed with all of the staff and their management of me.
Couldn't ask for more.
"Absolutely excellent care and treatment in A&E"
