My first hospital admission, for keyhole laparoscopic hysterectomy. I cannot fault the treatment given throughout the process; from GP visit & referral to my Consultant, I felt listened to, reassured and was fully informed of all options available and involved in decision making, right up to discharge the day after the op. Post op I had minimal pain & feeling better than expected, which I put down to the skill of my Consultant & the recovery programme.
The ward staff (Nurses, HCA's, nursing students, catering and cleaners) were caring, understanding, sensitive and respectful at all times.
A pleasant experience and stay.
