"West midddlesex Syon Ward 2b"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a relative),

My gran has been in hospital in Syon Ward 2. I have seen some nurses be rude and disrespectful toward her and the other elderly patients. I have seen this at first hand.

My gran is ih ner 80s and was left to lie on her excrement and urine from 11: 00 till 18: 00 despite us requesting on six different occasions to change her.

She has slipped a disc in her spine which has meant she is excruciating pain. Every time she presses the call button the nurses ignore it. I call her at 21: 00 usually to ask her how she’s feeling as visiting hours until 19: 00. She tells me that she’s pressed the bell three times asking for help to turn her but they have said they are busy. She’s watched a group of the nurses chatting rather than helping.

I asked the nurse earlier whether she was able to poo today as my gran is really constipated but the nurse couldn’t tell me as when he checked the notes there was nothing there. My gran's bed has no details of her name or dr or nurse. She could be anyone - if feels like they just don’t care.
