Transport

One of our regulars was asked if he would like to join in our integenerational quiz with the local nursery children in which he said he was "over the moon" with. One of our staff members collected him and made his way to Anam Cara via Car.

Explanations

He was only in the door 2 minutes and he was on the floor playing and laughing about with the kids. Our Quizmaster explained the rules of the quiz and gave him the honour of being the Captain for the Blue team with 3 other children. He said he felt happy and excited to be part of this.

Team work

The quiz contained many famous face like Elvis Pressley and Sean Connery in which he and the rest of the service users knew and famous cartoon characters like Peppa pig that the kids knew. He said he in hilarity when the kids were shouting the answer to there favourite cartoon character.

Involved in decisions

Towards the end came his favourite bit the singing and dancing. He led the kids on singing "happy and you know it" in which all the kids joined in on. His  favourite part was one individual child that was really showing off his dancing and "jigging"

He said he was honoured and chuffed to bits that he was invited to join in the event and felt the whole experience was brilliant and would definitely do it again next time.
