I was admitted to Kinver ward for 4 days before getting moved to my local hospital. The staff were lovely, especially the activity worker. I was so gutted the activity worker didn't work weekends but they were one of the few staff I actually felt like I could trust. They said to me that as long as it was doable I could do anything I wanted in terms of arts and crafts. There was actual activities put on, unlike my local hospital, such as going for walks with staff and relaxation. I really wish I was there long enough to do one of the recovery groups that run for 3 weeks. I was so gutted when they told me I had to move to my local hospital and had no choice about it. If I had a say I would've stayed there and would probably have been discharged a lot sooner. Definitely prefer it to my local hospital even though it's part of the same trust.
