"Thank you - fabulous staff"

About: The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre

My father in law Roy iscurrently very poorly on Colne ward. He has been there since 29 September. The staff there have been completely wonderful, treating him with dignity and respect and as a human being - even though a lot of them had never seen him conscious until earlier this week. This applies to not only clinical staff but also the ward clerk and the countless other unseen people behind the scenes. They have looked after my mother-in-law and all the rest of us. I honestly don’t know how they do it! Whatever happens - and we really hope he willl get better - we will always remember them with love and gratitude.

We are always pleased when relatives take the time to write with their appreciation of the care and treatment their loved ones have received at Basildon Hospital.
