I just been to Urgent Care Centre Preston, been waiting for 3h because the receptionist mistakenly spelled wrong my name even if I give them my full name and all details on a paper. Been seen by one GP, send me to another GP. They decided to take some blood test. The nurse practitioner took my blood wasn’t professional at all, they didn’t clean the area before venopuncture and once they pulled the needle out they put on a alcohol wipe witch was stinging. When I asked the nurse to wipe me with something else they broke a piece from the paper sheet where my shoes been there few minutes ago and wipe my wound after venopuncture. I would like to ask where is the professionalism in here? Where are infection prevention rules ? Plus after another 30’ come to ask me again my details because they been unable to send my blood test because I am not on the sistem.
"Lack of professionalism"
