I have had two minor operations at this hospital with two plastic surgeons, for the same problem.
During the first one, two years ago, the doctor discussed with me the procedure they would follow, only to change their mind during the operation, without an explanation. The result was a disaster which required further treatment. Moreover, they demanded to be payed in cash (why?).
The bill for my second operation a year ago, and with which I was hoping to repair some of the previous damage, came as £900 more expensive than it should have been. According to the bill, that amount was for drugs, even if I only had local anaesthetic and nothing else. It was eventually sorted out, but I was told by the doctor's secretary, as some sort of explanation, that most of their patients were NHS. Of course, if I had been a NHS patient, the bill would have been paid without any fuss.... I have been wondering about thatt.
"Very poor experience overall"
