About: Queen Marys Hospital (Sidcup)

A simple hernia op went wrong then advised to go for an ultrasound that gave the completely wrong prognosis followed by both the nurse and ultrasound member of staff being very rude to the point I had to slam the open door closed to get there attention as I clearly didn't exist.

The next Op went wrong which meant I went back and stayed In for 6 nights. After leaving still In some pain advised not to make the original follow appointment as Only just been discharged . This I confirmed on the phone so as others could have my space, which I was told had already been cancelled. This was fine until I get a letter saying I missed the appointment, and they had something to say about a biopsy. Im now stuck worrying what else can go wrong and as the weekend cant get through to anyone. Please don't go to Queen Mary's if you can go anywhere else.

A more detailed complaint will be submitted as Ive left out so much more.

I am very sorry that you have cause to make a complaint about your care at QMS.

I really would encourage you to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service who I know would be pleased o investigate the issues you raise,
