"Ridiculous"

About: Newham General Hospital / Accident and emergency

around 13:30 due to an abscess pain. After waiting an hour someone saw me and gave me antibiotics saying to see a doctor will take a long time. They told me to take the meds and if the pain got worse to come back.

What do you know, the pain got worse and again i attended A&E and 22:30. Waited 4 hours to be seen. After that i waited another 3 hours (total of 7 hours) only to be called to collect a discharge form. They said for me to come back in at 8:30 in the morning of the 14th to have a surgery for drainage. Now as you can imagine how much pain i was in. This is not on. Fair enough you can turn around and say not enough staff but come on, how can the keep me for 7 hours in total, after the first 4 hours to be seen then wait another 3 hours only for them to turn around and say “heres your discharge form and come back 8:30 in the morning for the surgery.

Not only that, they did not give me a fixed appointment. They said i have to come back to A&E and wait again to be seen. Now this is ridiculous. Being in pain with no sleep i have to come back in a few hours only to wait again.
