"Nurse could not have been more kind"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

During a visit to the Hairmyres Hospital A& E dept with a stomach complaint, the nurse who looked after me was Thomas. Thomas couldn’t have been more kind or helpful with an added touch of comedy which really lightened my mood as well as my worried mum and sister. Can’t thank Thomas enough he’s a credit to the NHS.

Dear Amykate

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience. I will share your comments with Thomas-David. He willI be delighted to hear that his kindness and cheer made a difference to your care. I am so pleased that he was able to reassure both yourself, your sister and mother. An attendance to the Emergency Department can be a stressful experience and worrying for both patient and family. It is so important that staff recognise this and support all that attend.

Thank you again for your comments. I hope you are recovering well.

Kind Regards

Lise
