"Impressive care!"

I was admitted to A & E @2am on October 11th with stomach pain.

The pain has been an ongoing problem for months and has resulted in sleepless nights.

The ambulance staff were so kind with the initial tests and the hospital staff handled my problem with quiet efficiency.

The doctor I was allocated was so thorough in his diagnosis, even accessing recent hospital tests .I was given medication both intravenously and by mouth and eventually after five hours the pain subsided and I was able to leave.

The doctor told me clearly what he thought was the problem and gave me advice and medication to take away.

I was very impressed with his expertise and care.

My experience of the A & E Department was a positive one.

The staff seemed to be a well co-ordinated team with high standards of care.
