"Cataract Surgery"

I would like to leave positive feedback on the Cataract Surgery service available at

Airedale Hospital.

My mum who is in her mid 80s had had cataract surgery to both

eyes in June and September of this year.

The out-patient service was speedy and

efficient. The day ward where she had surgery was small but comfortable and friendly.

The nursing staff were very supportive.

She was able to sit and chat with fellow patients

whilst having pre-op drops inserted.

The operations themselves were carried out

within several hours and she was given plenty of time to recover before being allowed

home with very clear and precise instructions on what to do at home.

She once again

met up with her fellow patients at the clinic a week later.

I would highly recommend this

service to anyone.
