"Victory ward"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I came in for a knee replacement on 5th October. Everything was explained to me . I felt welcome and not a nuicence When it was found out that I was going to be last on the list they made sure I was able to have a drink. After the operation I was well looked after all the staff from Doctors to cleaning staff were pleasant. The only thing I would alter is the very creepy display outside the window. It was probably very nice at one time but due to the weather needs altering I won’t put what I thought it was on a public display

Thank you for your comments which we will share with the staff who cared for you.

I am unsure what you refer to which you found to be very creepy, but I will be sure to find out what it is so that it doesn't worry other patients.

Kindest regards,

The Patient Experience Team
