"A+E experience"

About: DHU Healthcare CIC / NHS 111 East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust Lincoln County Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

I had an appointment made by 111 to the out of hours at Lincoln County A+E, after being seen they said they could not resolve this matter themselves and I would need to wait to see a doctor within the A+E department. 5 hours I waited, sat in that waiting room only to have bloods taken. It looked like there was urine, blood and people's litter thrown all over the floor. I understand the department is under pressure, but common, it's barely functioning.
