"Day case laparoscopy"

This month I visited the QE pods for a day case laparoscopy, the hospital was so clean! And from arriving at 7am I only had to wait two hours to go down to theatre. The nurses and all staff were friendly.The anaesthetist visited me before surgery and put me at ease also because I had experienced severe sickness with anaesthetic in the past he provided me with anti sickness, which this time around prevented any vomiting, this really helped. Only downside to my experience is I don't feel I was given enough pain relief. I was given nothing in the recovery room although I did express to the nurse I was sore and in pain. And I was not given any stronger pain relief to take home, because I had my own paracetamol and ibrouphen
