"Very positive patient experience"

I was recently a patient at The Gatehouse at Ayrshire Central Hospital, treated initially by Dr Holman then later by Dr Guttinger.  This resulted in me being referred to Dr Rae at Crosshouse Day Surgery Unit.  At the day surgery unit I received care from Dr Rae and Dr Buck.  

I really appreciated how these four doctors took time to explain my care, encourage my questions and answer them fully.  This left me feeling reassured, fully informed and most importantly, involved in the decisions surrounding my care.

All the staff I met at The Gatehouse and the Day Surgery Unit had a professional whilst still friendly approach.  As a member of staff I experienced our organisation from 'the other side' and I'm happy to say I had very positive patient experience.
