About: Wathwood Hospital

(as a service user),

I think that most of the staff are good. Just one or two but you always get one or two not so good. But as a rule they are good. I have had a good time here at wathwood. You are listened to and things get done.

On a couple of occasions I feel I have been verbally mistreated but I told staff and it was corrected.

I get good very and we receive good attention and the staff are always ask us if we are alright. More activities are needed cos things are limited but what there is is quite good.

Thank you for your posting and your comments relating to your experience at Wathwood. It is really positive to hear that staff are supportive, that they listen and get things done for patients.

You say that the activities that occur are good but these are limited. We would really like to hear your thoughts and ideas about additional activities that could be provided. This can be done in number of ways. I would be happy to meet with you to discuss this, ward staff would be able to contact me on your behalf.

You could discuss your ideas with your named OT and there are also ward community meetings and the Patient Forum where you could raise this as an agenda item.

We regularly review the OT programme at Wathwood. Any feedback or suggestions you are able to give would be taken to the review and assist us with our evaluation process.
