About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital

Since June 2017 I have been attending the Clinic for Lung Cancer. I was stunned at the verdict but thanks to the staff soon came to terms with it and am making good progress. I am so relieved that I had found people who I could trust. Without a doubt I am having the best treatment in the country. It will be a relationship of 2 years astonishing good luck to have found myself in the care of this Clinic, a safe pair of hands. Thank you for all the care, treatment and the free snacks.

I am very sorry to learn of your diagnosis and wish you all the best for your on-going treatment.

I will ensure I send your feedback to the Oncology Department and they will share this with the staff in the clinic.

I hope you have received information of other support agencies, but please also be aware that the Hamar Centre which is based on the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital site is a fantastic centre for supporting patients and their families who are going through cancer.

If you require any further help the MacMillan Cancer Centre's on both sites are also available to support you.
