"Shockingly poor once again"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

This hospital seems to absolutely shock me every time I am unfortunate enough to be in contact with them, and each time I presume it cannot get worse they prove that indeed it can.

After spending 35 minutes trying to find a parking space after being sent for an urgent blood test by my GP, I attended the Blood Test clinic. First off I was entirely ignored when I tried to enquire who I should give my form to, by a Nurse who simply turned their back on me and closed a door. Not one word of help or otherwise offered.

Then I was finally told some ten minutes later they were closed for the day- it was 11.45 so why this was I never received a reason for. I was advised to go to a secondary clinic. Luckily as it saved me the pain and discomfort of walking around the hospital go find this second clinic which I was given vague directions of "down there somewhere in the other corridor" another patient had just been sent to this one from this mystery other clinic. Guess why? You guessed it that one had decided to close as well.

So that was 35 minutes looking for a space, then looking for the clinic, then being ignored and for what? Nothing at all. No test no alternative and as usual no apology.

This hospital is an utter farce. I have never once had a positive experience of it. I'm now facing the prospect of having to deal with the whole thing again tomorrow. Even my GP surgery was shocked and couldn't understand how both were shut.

I genuinely think that, until I collapse and either due or nearly die, I may as well not exist to this bunch of incompetents. No doubt they will respond publicly here with sympathy but that will be it.
