"Dissatisfied care"

Attended A&E last night due to having a bad chest for the last week and pains with shortness of breath, didn’t feel 100% so thought I would get checked over. On arrival the receptionist was quite blunt , made me feel uncomfortable as though I was wasting their time!! I took a seat then was called through to triage by a emergency nurse practitioner, who was very professional who took my observations , asked me a couple of quetions then asked me to take a further seat while I waited for an ECG. I had my ECG by a kind Hca who then went and showed it to the dr. The Enp returns and said I can leave and get a follow up with my gp. No explanation !! no examination of my chest !! No percussion or listening to see whether I had a chest infection or any under lying conditions. Surely this would have been best practice!!

It would have taken all of 5 minutes of the drs time!! .Very disappointed in the care I received. I know that we are overwhelmed by patients on a day to day basis and time is an issue but good care is paramount surely. I do not usually have an issue but I am very disappointed.
