About: Bexhill Hospital

I had been waiting for over 3 months for a physiotherapy appointment at my local hospital but as I was prepared to travel managed to get an appointment at Bexhill much sooner.

My initial appointment was extremely thorough with the physiotherapist listening and taking a real interest in my condition.

They showed real empathy and understanding of my situation as well as offering clear and understandable instructions for how we were going to proceed - yes real patient involvement in the process. As my case was not straight forward the physiotherapist asked if I would agree to their senior manager attending the next meeting in order to get a second opinion on how to progress. Again this was a very re-assuring gesture and showed great sensitivity and understanding of patient care.

I now have a plan, that I have been fully involved in developing, for how we are to progress and feel that I am in very good hands for my rehabilitation.
