Firstly I would like to thank the Doctor for seeing me promptly and starting treatment for my on going rheumatoid arthritis symptoms in spite of being discharged by another consultant.
Secondly the Doctor kindly introduced me to a trial of 10 sessions of 1:1 yoga therapy for rheumatoid arthritis patients.
The yoga therapy was conducted by a person who is very accommodative and recommended the yoga exercises according to my symptoms
From my experience the yoga therapy has proved to be beneficial in relieving my symptoms of pain and swelling and I would highly recommend that the yoga therapy continues so that it will help patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
On the whole all staff in the Rheumatology Department, including clinical and clerical, provides an excellent service.
