"Quick efficient service"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Dermatology

(as a relative),

My husband attended the Dermatology Department at Monklands Hospital for investigation of a suspicious lesion which had appeared on his shoulder then changed size and colour.

The service he has had to date has been quick, efficient and Person Centred with Dr Shaffrali, Nurse Dudgeon, Mr Morley and the nurses in Dermatology OPD being attentive and caring. 

We have a way to go but thank you to date.

Dear CERS,

Firstly please accept my apology for my delayed response. We endeavour to respond to feedback received through Care Opinion within three working days. A routine review of the system shows that we have not responded to your submission.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at what must have been a very worrying time for you and your husband; I had a similar experience with a member of my own family recently.

Feedback from people using our services is really important as it enables us to reflect and learn about what we are doing well and what we could do better. It's really gratifying for staff to hear that they have had a positive impact and I will ensure your feedback is shared with the staff you have named and the wider department.
