"cancelled apointments aparently normal"

Got a phone call an hour before my appointment time to inform me that it had been cancelled.

My son missed a day of school and I was out of pocket by £12.90 cab fare (which I had booked on account via my phone app) as there is no parking.

The member of staff who called me back was unable to explain the reason for the cancellation other than it happens from time to time we have to cancel appointments due to emergencies.

Made it sound quite common and "normal".

I have no confidence now in their appointment system and if future ones will also be cancelled at short notice.

Very upsetting when you have a child with ASD and have spent the last week preparing them for a change in their routine only to have to explain that they are no longer going to see the doctor.

Awful management and administration.
