We have attended a number of appointments now due to being assigned clinician led care. We have yet to see the same clinician more than once and each has offered differing advice on the best way for my wife to deliver the baby. This advice seems to be based on the personal opinion of each consultant as none have attributed the conflicting messages to any evidence or the progress of the pregnancy. This has produced doubts that we have made the correct choices as we progress.
We have had to wait a lot with little or no explanation (though apologies were provided) the most recent visit was over 3 hours for a scan and consultant visit, despite having an appointment time of 910 am.
The reception staff were mainly polite and helpful thought we have been spoken to harshly when trying to check in for each part of the appointment on two occasions because the receptionists were 'busy' and 'setting up clinic now'.
