I have nothing but praise for all the wonderful staff on Ward 62.

Everyone - my consultant, the anaesthetist, the nurses and all the other staff who were on Ward 62 from 13th September to 17th September 2017 were outstanding in the way they carried out their work.

The care I received was first class. Nothing was too much for them, and everyone was so kind, friendly.and reassuring.

From when I was first admitted for my pre-op, and all the way through to when I left St Mary's after my abdominal hysterectomy, I felt at ease and relaxed- thanks to everyone who I came into contact with at every stage of my procedure. I was explained what was happening at each stage, and I was given the opportunity to ask questions. This helped me to feel safe, confident in the knowledge that I was in capable hands.

A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in my care!

It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to read that you found the medical and nursing staff all took the time to reassure you and provide you with the right level of information that enabled you to find this experience a positive one. The Trust has introduced a Behavioural framework within which all members of the nursing and medical teams work and the women and their families in our care are central to this ethos. I can assure you that we have passed on your feedback to Dr Gail Busby, Clinical Director for Gynaecology and Mrs Pam Kilcoyne, Lead Nurse for Gynaecology who will ensure the staff involved are aware of your kind thoughts.
