"Waitinfg for a eye appointment"

About: Princess Alexandra Hospital / Ophthalmology

I was attending the eye clinic for complications following a cataract operation last November. The doctor I saw referred me to the Retina clinic.

After six weeks of waiting I the appointments office to see how long I would have to wait, only to find they had no record of me being referred. I got in touch with a secretary who checked up to find the doctor had not done the referral letter. Eventually it was done and I was told I would have an appointment sooner as it was the hospitals fault. I am still waiting and cannot understand when you are already attending the eye clinic you have to wait weeks to be seen just to see another eye doctor.

I already waited to be seen in the first place, I think it is disgusting, I have been waiting two months already. I am very worried about my eye condition as it is.
