"Maternity ward"

About: Queen's Hospital / Maternity care

My daughter was born on 19th May 2017. I was in the midwife lead department and I was so satisfied with my service! I felt like I was in a private hospital been taken extra care off!!!

I had a water birth and it was a natural birth! The facilities that they had in my room was quite amazing. Unfortunately I wasn’t in any mood to try anything out as my baby was about to come to the world. Al I wanted to do was get into the poll and push. The midwifes where fantastic as they encouraged me to do everything on my own as they didn’t want to invade since they can see I was fully capable. I was so pleased with the service.

I would recommend any women for queens maternity ward.

Response from Queen's Hospital

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, I am so pleased to hear that the care you received from the team was good, all the staff work incredibly hard to ensure that they provide the best possible care to women. I will ensure your feedback is passed onto the team so that they are aware of the difference they made to you. Once again, thank you so much for taking the time to make us aware of your experience.

Kind Regards

Wendy Matthews

Deputy Chief Nurse/ Director of Midwifery
