"Not great"

About: Chiltern Hospital

Your experience at the hospital will depend entirely on what staff are working. Some of the nurses were completely impersonal, slow and would forget about you entirely if you didn't remind them several times you needed assistance. Others showed care and compassion and did what they could despite being busy. Overall I was generally unimpressed by the hospital. The rooms are nice enough and clean, however I felt let down and often anxious when my bell for assistance was acknowledged yet ignored for as long as 20 minutes, particularly if rung when help was needed to get to the toilet.

We are very sorry to read your comments about the experience you had with us last September.

We are passionate about care and try and demonstrate this in every contact with patients but we obviously fell short of expectations on this occasion.

We want to thank you for taking the time and trouble to write in – feedback helps us enormously to ensure we improve our service wherever possible.
