"Stress from Appointments"

About: South West London And St George's Mental Health NHS Trust

(as other),

Several times I have received texts and calls from Merton Assessment Team, which I have always responded to. Recently, after a text to the same effect that I had responded to immediately -twice, I received a letter dated in late September offering me an appointment at the Wilson Hospital 4 days later or basically, I could go to hell. Wonderful. A grieving person made to feel like suicidal herself as no one wants her.

Dear Noldea,

My name is Jane and I am one of the Experience and Governance Leads for the Trust. I am very sorry to learn of the stress you have experienced when receiving texts from the Merton Assessment Team. If you would like to raise this matter as a formal complaint then please contact the Patient Experience Team on 0203 513 6150 and they will register this for you.

If you feel that you need more immediate support, please contact your Care Co-ordinator, or alternately the Trust Mental Health Support Line on 0800 028 8000 who will be able to provide advice and a listening ear.

Kind regards

Jane
