After falling off my bike, I have had consistently brilliant care and treatment from the NHS - from the paramedics, to the doctor, nurses, porters and radiologists at borders general hospital.
Also being seen amazingly quickly at a&e in the glasgow royal infirmary, where one doctor clearly explained my condition, options and a plan of action, and asked me to present for the hand specialist and possible surgery. In ward 49 of GRI I was similarly treated with kindness, dignity, respect - from the warm knowledgeable and diligent nurses, to the health care assistant, porters, surgeons and consultant who all seemed to work smoothly together as an efficient and well-oiled machine. The theatre nurses and anaesthetists also explained everything really clearly and respectfully and checked my signature was my own which was also reassuring! Information gathering was really thorough and reassuring, and my comfort and care was always being attended to. Amazing nhs experience, thank you all so much!
"Amazing care received, thank you!"
