Well I had been complaining to my G. P practice, about severe pain in my shoulder and neck.
My GP referred me to Dr Cole shoulder Surgeon.
well, after the MRI, it came up Tendon problem
Had my op Yesterday, The Anaethnetist Howard, asked permission if, they found anything else, did I want them to see to it. I said yes, of course.
Dr Cole, filed down my Pinking shears, zig zag rotator cuff, and took a load of junk out, to make more room in my shoulder, while my shoulder was open, they found a 3 inch tear in my tendon, which Howard repaired.
I stayed in overnight, even though it was Surgical Day Unit.
ALL staff, right from Dawn the receptionist, at SDU, ALL the pre Assessment, and Surgical day Unit Fantastic, Professional, Thorough, Must not forget Herman in Recovery, who stayed with me, whilst I had my first drink of water, after General Anaethetic, and stayed with me, for my first sandwich and cup of tea, in case I was sick, but, I wasn't. It's a wonderful place, and wouldn't hesitate to be admitted again.
But not too soon, please.
