"Hip Replacement"

I recently underwent a total hip replacement.

This was my first operation and I was very anxious.

The staff at my pre-op assessment were brilliant, welcoming and put me at ease.

On the day of admission, I was again feeling very anxious and had lots of questions.

The staff were amazing, and nothing was too much trouble.

When

I went down to theatre, all the team were absolutely brilliant, very welcoming, friendly, very understanding and very reassuring.

This really helped me so much.

The ward staff after my operation were outstanding, very pleasant and made you feel safe.

I am now attending physio appointments and the staff are very pleasant, and offering very helpful advice .

If, in the future, I have to undergo another hip replacement, I would certainly have no hesitation in wanting to be under the care of the same team.
