About: Perinatal Mental Health Services / Hounslow Perinatal Mental Health Service

(as a service user),

Angela worked with me and she has helped me so much I can't thank her enough. She is amazing. My only issues is there was not enough time. She was only allowed to work with me until my baby was 6 months and it simply was not enough time. I could've really done with her sticking around. I don't like meeting new people and having constantly tell my story and it really puts me off asking for help if I could change anything it would be that they stick around at least until the baby is 1.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback about the support one of the nurses within the Hounslow Perinatal Mental Health Service offered you. It was clearly an extremely challenging time for you and we are pleased that you felt you benefited from the service you received. We hope that other women/families will benefit from reading about your experience.

We would like to reassure you that we are continuing to work with our local commissioners about developing the service further to be able to offer provision up to 1 year post birth in the future.

We will ensure this feedback is shared with the whole service and wish you well in the future.
