"Contradictory diagnostic - who to trust?"

About: University College Hospital

12-weeks scan: you have a fibroid that needs to be monitored

20-weeks scan: you don't have a fibroid, you are a low risk pregnancy so there won't be any more scan, bye.

The second scan was very rushed, clearly the doctor was constrained by time, snapped at me for the only question I dared ask during the super hurried scan.

Who should I believe? Fibroids increase the risk of complications so are supposed to be monitored so I can't just ignore the problem if it exists.

I am completely confused and angry and I have no idea what to do. Should I just pray and hope for the best or switch to private care so that doctors can take the extra 5 minutes to properly check whether there is a fibroid or not? (if not, that's a curious thing for the doctor to have imagined in the first place)
