Attended ADCU for a biopsy at 7am as requested. I was told that I would be one of the very first to be seen, after children, as I have a four hour round trip for this appointment. I was optimistic as there were no children waiting. The waiting room has since filled and emptied in the last 3 hours with almost everyone being seen except me. I have enquired at reception and the receptionist rudely told me to be prepared to wait all day as they cannot guarantee when I will be seen. I have not eaten since yesterday and have been told I cannot drink more than one quick glass of water immediately, but still be prepared to wait all day.
No indication if I have to wait another 3 hours, however annoyed as was specifically told AT 7.30am that I would be one of the very first to be seen.
