"Thank you!"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Accident and emergency

My daughter became unwell at home and after calling 111 they called an ambulance which took her to a&e, she was seen straight away and taken very good care of by the staff. She was later admitted to Puffin ward and again the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a scary situation but I was kept fully updated with what was going on. The staff work very hard and in these tough NHS times they do the best that they can. So thank you to you all for caring.

We are always pleased when relatives take the time to write with their appreciation of the care and treatment their loved ones have received at Basildon Hospital.

We are delighted that your daughter's experience was a positive one and that you also felt supported during her stay.

Your comments have been forwarded to the senior team to share with staff involved your daughter's care.

May we take this opportunity to thank you for your kind words and to wish you and your daughter our very best wishes.
